- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- In a large pot over medium-high heat, combine the popcorn kernels and vegetable oil.
- Cook, covered, until the kernels begin to pop, shaking the pot occasionally to prevent burning.
- Remove the pot from the heat and leave it for a minute to finish popping once the popping has slowed to a few seconds between each pop.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the popcorn, then season with salt and toss to coat.
